GoodRx $32 Million Privacy Settlement: File Your Claim by December 29
If you used GoodRx at any point before April 20, 2024, you may be owed a piece of a $32 million privacy settlement. The lawsuit alleged that GoodRx shared users’ personal and health-related information with third-party companies, and the company has agreed to settle — without admitting wrongdoing — for $32 million.
The claim process is about as easy as these get. There are no documents to gather and no proof to upload: eligible U.S. residents just need to provide their name, address, and contact information, choose a payment method (PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, virtual card, or check), sign an attestation, and submit online. The official claim site, goodrxprivacysettlement.com, is live right now with a “File a Claim” option.
Deadlines and fine print
You must file online by 11:59 p.m. ET on December 29, 2026, or mail a claim form postmarked by that date. Payouts are pro-rata — the $32 million is split evenly among everyone who files a valid claim — so the per-person amount depends on how many people claim. And do not expect money quickly: the final approval hearing is scheduled for February 11, 2027, and payments only go out after final approval and any appeals resolve. The class covers anyone in the U.S. who used any GoodRx website, app, or service (including GoodRx Gold, HeyDoctor, and GoodRx Care) before April 20, 2024. Claims are administered by A.B. Data.
