Lyft Ride to the Polls – 50% Off (Up to $10) with code VOTE26 (Nov 3 Only)
Admin If you need a ride to vote today, Lyft has you covered: through its 2026 Voting Access Program, the company is offering 50% off one ride to your polling place, up to $10 off, on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3. Load promo code VOTE26 in the Lyft app before you request your ride, and the discount applies to the fare, service fee, tolls, and taxes on that trip.
The offer is broader than a standard car ride. The same code works on one Lyft-operated bikeshare or scooter ride in markets where Lyft runs those, so if a bike or scooter gets you to the polls faster, that counts too. The window runs from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. local time, and the code can be preloaded in the app ahead of time so it is ready when you need it.
There are a few limits worth knowing before you head out. The discount is capped at $10, it covers one ride per user, it cannot be combined with other ride credits or offers, and it does not apply to tips or to Black and Black SUV rides. It also is not tied to how you vote — Lyft’s own terms say the code is not conditioned on voting for any person or measure, and it works for rides to registered ballot dropbox locations in vote-by-mail states too.
Getting to the polls should not be the hardest part of voting, and for anyone without a car nearby, half off the trip is a genuinely useful break. Load VOTE26 now so it is sitting in your app before you leave the house.
How to get it
Open the Lyft app, add promo code VOTE26, then request a ride to your polling place (or a Lyft-operated bike or scooter) between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. local time on November 3, 2026. The 50% discount, up to $10, applies automatically to that one eligible ride.
