Admin Krusteaz is handing out a free gadget for your breakfast table: the limited-edition Pancake Pause Box, a phone lock box designed to keep everyone’s devices off the table so breakfast stays about breakfast. Each box also comes with eight 32-ounce boxes of Krusteaz Buttermilk Complete Pancake Mix — which the brand describes as a year’s supply for a family.
The catch, and it’s a real one: this is a timed drop. The request form goes live on Thursday, October 15 at 12:00 p.m. ET, and quantities are limited on a first-come, first-served basis. Trackers across the freebie world flagged it today, and Krusteaz’s official page already has a “come back on October 15” countdown — so this is a genuine upcoming giveaway, not a rumor.
How to claim
- Set an alarm for Thursday, October 15 at 11:00 a.m. CT (12 p.m. ET) — these limited drops go fast.
- Open krusteaz.com/pause-box (the buy button below) right when the form opens.
- Fill out the request form and submit. That’s it — no purchase necessary.
- Filling out the form does not guarantee you’ll get one. If you’re selected, Krusteaz will contact you and ship the box.
Eligibility and fine print
No purchase is required to request a box. Boxes are limited in quantity and awarded first come, first served. The official terms on the form will list any geographic or one-per-household limits — check them before you submit, and expect to share your email address.
Pros and cons
- Pro: Completely free — a year’s worth of pancake mix plus a genuinely fun family gadget at no cost.

- Con: The form isn’t open yet — miss the October 15 noon ET window and it’s gone.
- Con: Even a fast submission doesn’t guarantee a box; quantities are limited.
- Con: You’ll hand over your contact info, so expect Krusteaz marketing emails afterward.
