FREE Gold Lightning McQueen Car at Macy’s on Oct 16 (Kids Event 4–6 PM)
Admin
Macy’s is throwing a little birthday party for Geoffrey the giraffe, and your kids get the presents. On Friday, October 16, from 4 PM to 6 PM, kids can score a free Gold Lightning McQueen die-cast car at participating Macy’s stores with Toys”R”Us departments.
It gets better: spend $25 on Hot Wheels, Matchbox, or Pixar Cars during the event and you also pick up a free Hot Wheels Halloween card. Then come back Saturday, October 17, from 12 PM to 2 PM, when kids can build and take home an exclusive LEGO giraffe, plus enjoy in-store coloring activities.
How to join
- Find a Macy’s with a Toys”R”Us department near you and confirm it is participating.
- Show up October 16 between 4 and 6 PM with the kids for the free Gold Lightning McQueen car — no purchase required for the car itself.
- Return October 17 between 12 and 2 PM for the LEGO giraffe build-and-take-home.
The fine print, plainly: free car is one per child while supplies last — popular giveaways like this can run out before the window closes, so earlier is safer. The $25 Hot Wheels/Matchbox/Pixar Cars purchase is only needed for the bonus Halloween card, not the car.
Event verified: October 12, 2026. Dates, times, and giveaway details confirmed against Macy’s official event announcement.
