Dollar General Surprise Penny Day 2: Hose, Throw & LED Lights for 1¢ (Nov 5)
Admin The Dollar General surprise penny event from Nov 4 is still live on Day 2, and a fresh set of UPCs is ringing a penny on top of the Nov 4 NCI home-goods list. Day-2 hauls posted Nov 5 confirm the event is still going — one shopper scored 55 pennies on the second day — but managers are reportedly pulling penny items, so this is a go-today-or-likely-gone situation.
The new UPCs, all $0.01: the BELSTROM Heavy Duty Hose 50 ft (was $45), UPC 430001671754; the Forsythia Ridge Textured Ruffle Throw 50×60 in gray (was $15), UPC 194382166604; and the Holiday Style 200 LED Dome Micro Lights, UPC 430001515188. These three are single-source, so scan them before you trust them.
How to claim
- Scan each UPC in the Dollar General app in-store — $0.00 on the scan means it rings a penny at the register.
- Take the items to the register and pay the penny price.
- If the app shows a regular price, that item is not a penny at your store.
