Amtrak Twice as Nice Sale: Bring a Friend Free in Your First-Class Roomette
Admin Heads up, deal hunters: Amtrak is running the Amtrak Twice as Nice Sale: Bring a Friend Free in Your First-Class Roomette offer right now — a straight-up promo with real savings, confirmed live on their site.
What you’re getting: Book a First-Class Roomette and bring a companion free with promo code C102; Travel November 1, 2026 through January 31, 2027 on Amtrak long-distance trains; Roomette includes meals, lounge access, a dedicated attendant, and priority boarding. A companion fare on a sleeper can easily run into the hundreds, so getting the second fare waived is real money back on a trip for two.
If a long-distance rail trip is on your list, the booking deadline is the thing to watch: reservations must be made by October 31, 2026, even though travel itself runs through January 31, 2027.
To get the free companion fare, book through Amtrak’s Twice as Nice sale page and enter promo code C102 when booking, with both travelers on the same reservation sharing the roomette. We confirmed the offer terms on Amtrak’s own sale page when this post was verified; roomettes are limited, so popular dates can sell out.
