Admin Mark the calendar: Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s are kicking off Santa’s Wonderland on Saturday, November 7, 2026, and kids can take home a free mini reindeer plush. Santa makes his magical arrival at 5 PM, followed by a tree lighting ceremony, seasonal treats, and the plush giveaway — all free, while supplies last.
How to attend: just show up at a participating Bass Pro Shops or Cabela’s store on November 7. There is no ticket, no purchase, and no signup required for the plush. Go early if you can — giveaway stock is limited, the arrival festivities start at 5 PM sharp, and the plushies will go to the families who get there first.
The freebies keep coming after the kickoff. From November 8 through December 24, families visiting Santa get a free 4×6 studio photo plus a free shareable video greeting card. Reservations for the Santa photos open November 1 and spots fill up fast every year, so book as soon as the calendar opens if you want a specific time.
